About Me
I grew up in rural Punjab, where light is generous, golden, and stretches long across fields and makes ordinary things look majestic. I was enchanted by what light did to the natural world around me. The way shadows moved. The scenery changed in the split of a second. The manner in which wildlife revealed itself. The way colors shifted and harmonised with changing weather. This dance happened before my contemplative eyes and I learned photography not in a classroom but in the fields, and on the road, travelling. I even learned the technical settings, camera in hand, chasing light, snow, rain and hail.
